Faith has a shadow that is not doubt.
Doubt and faith are sides of the same mirror.
They both feed each other and feed on each other.
They do their work in the shadow of faith,
the tracks where faith and doubt have walked and struggled.
Yesterday's faith and doubts are insufficient to today.
Today's faith and doubts will be cast off tomorrow.
A rigid faith is fragile and breaks,
But the nourished shadow of faith flowers into hope.
